| This
work in progress photo illustrates the complexity and artistry
invested in the creation of just one component, a modesty panel
for our American Eagle desk.
Five specialized
artisans contribute their skills to accomplish the hand-carving,
the hand cut and heat-shaded inlays, selection and laying of the
exotic burl walnut veneers, shaping of turnings and moldings and
on to the final step of a traditional finish emulating the patina
of a 200 year old antique. |

of a credenza top under construction incorporating 10 different
woods and hundreds of individual inlays.
The
marriage of precision craftsmanship, attention to detail and an
unflinching dedication to aesthetics defines our mission statement
and purpose for our organization.

|
All
carving is done entirely by hand to assure crisp, sharp lines,
undercuts and the subtle nuances of the carver's hand.
Our
commitment to traditional methods like this contribute to the
old world aesthetics typically found only in the finest 18th and
19th century furniture. |
|
| It
is indeed rare in today's world to find the three distinct arts
of hand carving, marquetry inlay and exotic veneering in the same
piece of furniture. In reality, this was seldom accomplished even
in the halcyon days of fine furniture making. |
