| To
achieve the best results we believe that the traditional method
of cabinet-making should be retained in each and every facet of
our business. Tradition is therefore at the heart of everything
we do. A small nucleus of highly-skilled craftsmen carry out the
majority of operations by hand.
Modern machining
methods are used only in the initial stages of manufacture to
form the basic parts. Thereafter, much of the work in the veneer,
cabinet, chair-making and polishing shops is done entirely by
hand. As an example, we even hand-cut all dovetail joints. Only
a few cabinet-makers throughout the world still retain this traditional
practice. |
